We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Care Partner to join our team at Aspira Kensington Place Retirement Living. As a key member of our community, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Review and implement resident support plans, ensuring all activities of daily living are met, including bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
- Monitor and document resident vital signs, weights, behavior, mobility, and safety, reporting any changes to the care team.
- Escort residents to social activities, appointments, and dining areas, promoting social interaction and engagement.
- Respond promptly to nursing call systems and assist with resident transfers and moves.
- Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the highest level of care and support.
- High School Diploma and completion of a Personal Support Worker program from a recognized institution.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- At least six months of experience in a geriatric environment.
- Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Courses in gerontology, aging, or dementia are an asset.
- Completion of an accredited Personal Support Worker program and 600 hours of related experience, including clinical experience in a geriatric setting.
