Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at St. Johns Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide compassionate patient care and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform assessments, plan, and provide personal care to patients
  • Work in accordance with the competency guidelines and scope of practice within the Standards of Practice as outlined by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives
  • Collaborate with the Unit/Program Manager and other healthcare professionals to implement care plans
  • Administer medications and operate related equipment

Requirements

  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing LPN registrant
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Knowledge of nursing procedures and protocols
