Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at St. Johns Hospital in the Emergency Department. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate patient care and working collaboratively with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Department, ensuring that patients receive safe and effective care.
  • Work closely with the care team to coordinate health services, including discharge and care planning, patient advocacy, and education.
  • Provide safe and appropriate telephone consultations and document related discussions and patient care.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary clinical frameworks and adhere to established protocols and standards of practice.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses and one year of recent experience working in a related area of care.
  • Current practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
