Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Kitchen Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our restaurant's kitchen. This is a permanent position offering 35-40 hours per week.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing Kitchen Staff: Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Maintaining Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
- Scheduling: Coordinate shifts and schedules to meet business needs.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure all kitchen areas are clean and well-maintained, including equipment and utensils.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- No Degree Required: We welcome applicants without formal education or certifications.
- 1-2 Years Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or within the food industry is essential.
- Dependability and Flexibility: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and flexibility.
- Team Player: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate staff effectively.
