About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Expert to lead our kitchen operations at Sushi Garden.

The ideal candidate will have experience in menu planning, food preparation, and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine food portion sizes and costs
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes
  • Train staff in food preparation and handling
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Manage kitchen operations

Requirements:

  • Japanese cuisine expertise
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Permanent employment
  • English language skills
  • 30 to 40 hours per week
