Job Title: Food Services Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Services Manager to join our team at Strawberry Blonde Bakery. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food services department, ensuring the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and optimize budget to maintain and boost restaurant profits
  • Develop and implement budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, and supplies
  • Evaluate and improve daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
  • Modify food preparation methods and menu prices to align with restaurant budget
  • Monitor revenues and labor costs to ensure profitability
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including staff scheduling and inventory management
  • Recruit and hire new staff members as needed
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices for food and supplies
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote our bakery and services
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in food services management or a related field
  • College or CEGEP diploma in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
