Job Title: Food Services Director

About the Role:

No.70 Cake is seeking a highly skilled Food Services Director to lead our culinary team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective budgeting strategies to manage food, ingredient, and supply costs.
  • Evaluate and improve daily operations to enhance customer satisfaction and increase revenue.
  • Collaborate with staff to plan and organize daily operations, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise a team of 3-4 staff members.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best deals for food and other supplies.
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • College/CEGEP education.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Safe Food Handling certificate.

Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physically demanding with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Overtime required.

Language: English

Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
