The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to direct, coordinate, and exercise functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of projects within the area of assigned responsibility. The successful candidate will ensure that goals or objectives of the projects are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters.

Key Responsibilities:
• Effectively define project scope and strategy in conjunction with end users
• Review project proposals or plans to determine time frame, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project
• Establish work plans and staffing for each phase of the project and assign project tasks
• Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget
• Develop and maintain schedules and budgets for assigned projects; manage contractors, consultants, and vendor resources
• Obtain cost estimates and coordinate preparation and delivery of project deliverables, design documents, and bid packages
• Evaluate and approve design changes, specifications, and drawing releases
• Prepare project reports for management and confer with project personnel to provide technical advice and resolve problems
• Coordinate project activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agencies
• Manage all SAP functions including PRs, POs, Service Receipts, and all AP issues
• Responsible for the overall review and release of the project to the plant including but not limited to the areas of safety, environmental, quality, and functionality
• Provide technical and supervisory assistance in plant maintenance department emergencies, shutdown planning, and maintenance strategies

Requirements:
• Minimum 10 years of related experience in cement industries
• Knowledge of processes in the cement industry
• Experience with expansion projects and sustaining in the cement industries
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Suite)
