**SALARY: $32.650 - $40.813**

The Project Consultant at STEGH is an integral member of the Facilities Management team. Reporting to the Director of Facilities Management, the Project Consultant is responsible for directing, organizing and controlling project activities, with functional oversight from the Manager of Building Services in order to meet all the required project deliverable objectives, and implementation dates.

**HOURS**:
Evening and night hours as required to meet the needs of staff working shift work. On average, the incumbent will work three days per week, with possible changes to the schedule and hours of work due to operational needs. Weekend hours may be necessary for certain educational endeavours.

**SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED**:

- Degree or diploma in Architectural Sciences, Civil Engineering or Project/Construction Management.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in managing and support in the delivery of construction projects.
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of related experience in large healthcare projects is preferred.
- Preferred experience in Infrastructure Ontario AFP projects and / or experience with Healthcare Infrastructure Renewal Fund (HIRF) Projects.
- Excellent computer skills in MS Office Suite of products, including MS Project.
- Knowledge of building development, construction practices and building codes would be a definite asset.
- PMP Designation or demonstrated knowledge and experience using established project management professional standards and practices would be a definite asset;
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt for Health Care or higher would be a definite asset;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to positively influence others and develop internal and external relationships;
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage a wide variety of issues on multiple projects;
- Strong team skills complemented with a strong work ethic.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to patient and staff safety.
- Excellent attendance record in accordance with STEGH’s Attendance at Work Program
- Demonstrated acceptable performance record in alignment with STEGH's Mission, Vision, Values and Code of Conduct
