Hematology Oncology Territory Representative

In the role of Hematology Oncology Territory Representative at 837 GlaxoSmithKline Inc., you will be responsible for expediting access to hematology oncology medicines through a thorough understanding of the hematology oncology landscape and hospital/cancer center nuances. This includes partnering with healthcare professionals and hospitals to support patients throughout their treatment journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic business sales plan that maximizes territory growth, setting short and long-term objectives for customers, allied healthcare professionals, and hospital/cancer centers.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of customers, hospitals, the provincial/hospital oncology environment, and key decision-makers.
- Showcase a deep understanding of GSK products, strategies, positioning, and POA in the hematology oncology space.
- Analyze competitor companies, products, positioning, and how healthcare professionals view the overall landscape in the hematology oncology space.
- Engage healthcare professionals in scientific discussions to challenge the status quo and ensure GSK products are optimally prescribed.
- Build effective internal relationships and collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to create new ideas and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Emphasize accountability and empowerment to make informed decisions considering stakeholders.
- Take a broader perspective when making trade-off decisions and prioritize opportunities to support healthcare professionals nationwide.
- Contribute to a results-oriented work environment by bringing positive energy and holding yourself and others accountable for delivering on objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Significant hematological oncology experience (minimum 5 years) or proven performance in launching a product in a competitive market.
- A self-starter driven by the desire to positively impact the healthcare system and patients.
- Persuasive individual willing to challenge the status quo for the benefit of patients.
- Innovative collaborator with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage activities effectively.
- Familiarity with computer technology and Office-based applications.
Compensation Package:
The estimated annual salary for this role is between $120,000 and $180,000, depending on location and experience.
