We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Sandpiper Truck Services Ltd. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across various routes, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition, and perform routine maintenance tasks as required.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, as well as complete necessary paperwork and documentation.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Certifications: Air Brakes Endorsement, Bear Awareness Certification, CPR Certificate, Driver's License (Class 1 or A), Driver's License (Class 3 or D), First Aid Certificate, Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate, Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
