Job Title: Truck Driver

Join Sandpiper Truck Services Ltd. as a skilled Truck Driver and contribute to the success of our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods
Requirements:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Bear awareness Certification
  • CPR Certificate
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Driver's License (Class 3 or D)
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Hydrogen Sulphide Awareness (H2S) Certificate
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
