About the Job
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Service Employee (Mechanic Helper). This role will work with the Maintenance Team to ensure vehicles are prepped and transferred to the appropriate location within the facility.
Responsibilities
- Wash and fuel vehicles
- Wash the yard and shop
- Move heavy-duty vehicles
- Check tire pressure
- Perform multi-point inspections on inbound units
- Report service issues to the shop
- Record fuel activity and maintain proper fuel and DEF inventories
- Maintain the fuel island area to Six Sigma standards
- Perform minor maintenance tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
- Valid Canadian Driver's license required (at least Class G2)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proficient in English written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrates customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including shift work, weekends, and holidays
