Job Title: Service Technician

Brandt is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team at our London Construction & Forestry location. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of Forklift based equipment and attachments in a shop environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate the working condition of Forklift equipment, diagnose issues, and perform repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Use secondary materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Operate related instruments, hand and power tools, and computer systems.
  • Accurately document work orders and machine information.
  • Assess service task hazards and ensure work is performed safely and to accepted standards.
  • Use computer applications and information systems to document maintenance and inspection.
  • Locate and order parts from parts personnel.
  • Road test equipment and check attachment operation as required.
Requirements:
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with customers, the service team, and branch personnel.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous mechanical experience in a Forklift equipment environment.
  • Certified Journeyperson in the Heavy Duty Equipment technician trade or equivalent designated trade.
  • Commitment to customer service and service excellence.
