Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
  • Hire and Manage Staff: Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that we have a skilled and motivated team to deliver exceptional service.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Financial Management: Prepare budget and cost estimates, ensuring that we are operating within our financial means.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other relevant metrics, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
Work Environment:

As a Food Service Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks such as bending, crouching, and walking. You will be required to work under pressure, maintaining a calm and composed demeanor in a busy and dynamic environment.

Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment is preferred.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
