Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Heritage Indian Cuisine Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service in our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and maintain a smooth service flow.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that all necessary items are stocked.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to optimize inventory management.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure timely and accurate service.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant or food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
