Job Overview:

Entegris is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Technology Engineer to join our team in Toronto. As a key member of our Speciality Chemicals Manufacturing site, you will be responsible for developing and implementing world-class manufacturing processes, focusing on safety, service, quality, and agility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate existing processes and implement new techniques to improve process flow, quality, and first-pass yields.
  • Create and revise process instructions and train production staff on standard operating procedures.
  • Lead lean-sigma projects to influence customer satisfaction, waste elimination, and cost effectiveness.
  • Promote the use of continuous improvement tools to eliminate non-value-added activities.
  • Work with production personnel to attain 100% on-time shipping performance.
  • Ensure compliance to procedure and ISO requirements.
  • Lead 8D Problem Solving Teams in failure analysis and corrective action activities.
  • Participate in New Product Development Team activities and analyze results.
  • Develop ROI data for equipment replacement and coordinate design, purchase, and implementation.
  • Participate in 5S activities and provide guidance to drive improvements.
Requirements:
  • B.S. or higher in Chemical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Proven success working with all levels across an organization.
  • Project management qualification (PMP) or equivalent experience.
  • 7-10+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or process engineering.
  • Experience with mechanical and process design of equipment for chemical manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and excellent English, verbal, and written communications skills.
