Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Executive Wing. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the operation's performance integrity and compliance to customer expectations of all manufactured products.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Process Development: Define the production process with enough detail that the production team may consistently meet the customer expectations and quality standards.
  2. Process Optimization: Develop the process to meet the short and long-term needs of the customer in terms of quantity and delivery.
  3. Quality Assurance: Use the latest methods of GMP to continually improve throughput and process capability.
  4. Engineering Disciplines: Utilize Process Flow and Process Flow Analysis, Tooling Planning, Acquisition, and Maintenance, PFMEA to establish process risk of failure, and other relevant engineering disciplines to drive process optimization.
  5. Continuous Improvement: Develop core process standards and drive toward process optimization, conduct trials in support of process improvement, and participate in OEE and Capacity Improvement Teams.
  6. Communication: Communicate information in an effective manner to aid in the advancement of a product from Concept Readiness to Implementation Readiness.
  7. Compliance: Ensure evidence of compliance to our internal policy and procedures.
  8. Documentation: Create and maintain tooling and machine drawings in an organized way.
  9. Technical Expertise: Draft, layout, and specify technical devices, parts, and equipment by providing documentation, detailed instructions, drawings, or specifications to define for others how devices, equipment, or structures are to be manufactured, assembled, modified, maintained, or used.
  10. Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot process issues and understand the root cause of problems to identify improvement opportunities.
  11. Project Management: Provide technical input and direction during capital projects as it relates to machinery or tooling.
  12. Industry Practices: Utilize industry practices such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Project Management methodologies.
  13. Safety and Ergonomics: Participate in Ergonomics and safety improvement teams and be role models in support of company objectives, policy, and procedures, and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
  1. Experience: 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in the plastics manufacturing industry.
  2. Education: BSc in Engineering with experience in new program/systems development.
  3. Skills: Process development, safe manufacturing processes, and facility design (AutoCAD preferably SolidWorks 3D), Process validation; Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OP), and Product Qualification (PQ), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Visio, Minitab Software and Statistical Process Control.
