Job Overview:

Entegris is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Technology Engineer to join our team in Toronto. As a key member of our Speciality Chemicals Manufacturing site, you will be responsible for developing and implementing world-class manufacturing processes that drive efficiency, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and improve existing processes to enhance product quality, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
  • Design and implement new processes and automation techniques to streamline manufacturing operations.
  • Develop and maintain process instructions, train production staff, and advise maintenance personnel on equipment setup and troubleshooting.
  • Lead lean-sigma projects to drive business process improvements, reduce waste, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with production personnel to achieve 100% on-time shipping performance and eliminate quality issues.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO requirements and lead 8D problem-solving teams to resolve customer complaints and internal manufacturing defects.
  • Participate in new product development activities, analyze results, and validate protocols for products, processes, and equipment.
  • Develop ROI data for equipment replacement and coordinate design, purchase, and implementation.
  • Participate in material disposition decisions and review blocked stock materials for timely implementation.
  • Drive 5S activities in manufacturing areas and provide guidance to improve performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field) preferred.
  • 7-10+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or process engineering with strong project management experience in high-purity chemical, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Experience with mechanical and process design of equipment for chemical manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, strong communication skills, and ability to present technical data to all levels of the organization.
  • Expert knowledge of Six Sigma, process improvements, statistical process controls, and proactive quality management practices.
