Job Title: Restaurant Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Bonsai Sushi Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Restaurant Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that all food and service meet our high standards. This is a key role that requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
Work Environment:

The Restaurant Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds is required.
