About the Job

Oakridge Landscape Contractors is seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our team as a Lawn Maintenance Crew Member. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for performing daily tasks related to lawn maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and edging.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all necessary equipment is properly stored and maintained.
  • Inspect equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Perform lawn mowing and trimming tasks to maintain a neat and tidy appearance.
  • Remove weeds and litter from planting areas, pots, driveways, and parking areas.
  • Trim shrubs and trees as required.
  • Plant flowers and plants when needed.
  • Communicate daily with the foreperson and other crew members regarding tasks, schedules, and concerns.
Requirements
  • 1 year of industry experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license G license.
  • Knowledge of proper mowing, trimming, edging, and weed removal techniques is an asset.
  • Ability to work long hours in various weather conditions.
