Job Description

As a Cloud Software Development Expert at Plunge, you'll design, develop, test, and ship software to production. You'll maintain a sense of ownership throughout the entire process and uphold our high engineering standards, bringing consistency to the codebase you'll work on.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy software to production.
  • Maintain a high level of ownership throughout the entire development process.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
  • Experience as a generalist, working on both frontend, backend, and anything it takes to solve problems quickly.
  • Proficiency in languages commonly used across the web, including JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python.
  • Knowledge of React, Next.js, ability to rapidly navigate RESTful APIs and GraphQL, alongside SQL and NoSQL databases is a plus.
  • Strong track record in leading and driving projects to completion, even under ambiguity.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

The estimated base salary for this role is CAD $105,000 - $145,000 per year.
