Job Title: Janitorial Site Supervisor

About the Role:

The Janitorial Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of our site facilities. This includes supervising and coordinating Industrial Janitors and Floor Professionals, conducting site inspections, and ensuring compliance with health and safety processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet daily with Manager to discuss duties and requirements
  • Provide positive leadership and set an example for subordinates
  • Conduct site inspections and identify areas for improvement
  • Assist with general cleaning, including trash removal, dusting, and cleaning restrooms and offices
  • Assist with floor maintenance, including sweeping, mopping, and buffing floors
  • Coach and train staff
  • Ensure all health and safety processes are completed and compliant
  • Manage finances and follow budget requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years residency in Canada for clearance purposes
  • Floor care experience required, including ability to scrub, buff, and polish floors
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment and machines
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Ability to bend, turn, stoop, stand, reach high and low, lift and carry up to 50 lbs. for 3 to 8 hours per shift
  • A clear criminal background check is required for this role
  • Experience in basic computer skills
