We are seeking an experienced Assistant Site Superintendent to join our team at Michael Page International Canada Limited, a well-established construction management firm specializing in residential and commercial sectors. Our client prides itself on delivering high-quality construction solutions, from traditional plans and specifications to complex, turn-key projects.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of construction operations, specifically construction specifications, building materials, methods, and procedures. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry as an Assistant Site Superintendent within an established construction company is required. The candidate should also have a strong educational background in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

This role offers attractive salary potential up to $130,000, a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision care, an RRSP Plan, and opportunities for career advancement and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with the Site Superintendent to ensure projects achieve their scheduled targets and profitability goals.
  • Advocate for and implement health, safety, and environmental standards throughout the project.
  • Regularly update the construction schedule to ensure that milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate tasks and activities with various project stakeholders, including clients, architects, consultants, site foremen, field personnel, vendors, and subcontractors.
  • Foster strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure that materials and workmanship comply with quality standards and regulations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for leading and inspiring a diverse team
