Position DetailsWe are seeking a qualified teacher to fill a long-term assignment in our Intermediate Media Arts/Senior Visual Arts program. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a range of courses, including media arts and senior visual arts, to students in grades 9-12.
QualificationsTo be considered for this position, applicants must possess a strong background in teaching media arts and senior visual arts, as well as a solid understanding of the Ontario curriculum. Intermediate French and Intermediate Geography qualifications are also required.
Appointment ProcessThis assignment will be filled in accordance with Part A, Article 17.3 of the current OECTA Secondary Collective Agreement. Priority will be given to unplaced, qualified redundant teacher applicants from the Secondary Teacher bargaining unit, in order of seniority. In the event the assignment remains unfilled, qualified applications from the Occasional Roster will be considered.
