Financial Data Specialist

- Monday to Friday, flexible between 8AM - 4PM, Mountain Time (Alberta, Canada)
As a Financial Data Specialist with BruntWork, you will manage financial records for multiple clients using industry-leading software like QuickBooks, Dext, and Hubdoc. You will apply your expertise in Canadian bookkeeping practices, particularly focusing on GST and HST concepts, to maintain precise financial records. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to balance your professional and personal life while contributing to the firm's growth and success. - Manage bookkeeping tasks for diverse clients using QuickBooks and other accounting software
- Process and organize financial data efficiently with receipt management tools like Dext and Hubdoc
- Maintain meticulous financial records across multiple client accounts
- Apply Canadian tax concepts, especially GST and HST, in day-to-day bookkeeping processes
- Work independently to meet deadlines and uphold high standards of financial reporting accuracy
- Collaborate with the firm owner to ensure client satisfaction and maintain service quality
- Adapt to new technologies and accounting practices to stay at the forefront of the industry
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, preferably with experience in Canadian accounting contexts
- Quick learner, able to adapt to new software like Dext and Hubdoc
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple client accounts
- Meticulous attention to detail and high accuracy in financial data management
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills in a remote work environment
- Reliable internet connection and comfort with virtual collaboration tools
