Hotel Clerk Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Clerk Supervisor to join our team at F.C.H. Limited Partnership o/a Econolodge Fox Creek. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our hotel staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining the highest standards of hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments, establish work schedules and procedures, and perform same duties as workers supervised.
  • Customer Service: Assist clients/guests with special needs, co-ordinate, assign and review work, and maintain operation of computer systems, equipment, machinery, and arrange repair work to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.
  • Staff Management: Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, and requisition materials and supplies.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports, and resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Availability: Availability for shift or on-call work, and willingness to relocate for this position.
