Job Title: Hotel Clerk Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Clerk Supervisor to join our team at F.C.H. Limited Partnership o/a Econolodge Fox Creek. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our front desk and guest services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless guest service delivery.
  • Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operation of the front desk.
  • Perform same duties as workers supervised, including checking guests in and out, handling guest complaints, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Prepare and submit reports on guest satisfaction, employee performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs, including providing wheelchair accessibility and ensuring that all guests have a positive experience.
  • Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure that all employees are equipped to provide excellent guest service.
  • Maintain operation of computer systems, equipment, machinery, and arrange repair work to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.
  • Requisition materials and supplies as needed to ensure that the front desk is well-stocked and equipped to handle guest requests.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, employees, and other departments.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations, including front desk procedures, guest services, and employee management.
