Geriatric Nursing Care Specialist

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Licensed Practical Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional care to the elderly to join our team at Staff on Call in Duncan, British Columbia. This is a temporary opportunity that requires a commitment of 3-6 months or longer.
Responsibilities- Perform thorough assessments of residents' needs and develop personalized care plans
- Provide direct supervision to care staff to ensure seamless delivery of resident care
- Administer medications as per pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures
The ideal candidate will have graduated from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program, hold current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC, and possess current CPR and First Aid certification. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for success in this role. Knowledge and background in dementia care are preferred but not mandatory.
