Nurse Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at RhynoCare Healthcare. As a LPN, you will be responsible for providing nursing care in accordance with established policy, physician's orders, and the resident plan of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to residents in accordance with established policy and physician's orders.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.
- Ensure timely and safe resident transfers and discharges.
- Manage the supply, control, and safekeeping of drugs and narcotics.
Requirements:
- Active registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Able to work with persons with infectious diseases.
- BLS Certificate.
- Valid First Aid & CPR.
- Proof of current immunizations for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella (MMRV), proof of negative TB skin test within one (1) year, and Hepatitis B.
- Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work various shift times, including eight (8) or twelve (12) hours in length.
- Ability to 'float' from unit to unit within a hospital, depending on facility need.
