VCA Canada is seeking dedicated Registered Veterinary Technologists to become part of our mixed animal practice team.
- Completion of a Veterinary Technologist or Animal Health Technologist program is required.
- Proficient in conducting physical examinations, patient evaluations, catheter placements, anesthesia oversight, radiographic procedures, venipuncture, and pharmacy operations.
- Experience in surgical preparation, assistance, and patient recovery processes.
- Capability to maintain comprehensive and precise patient documentation.
- Commitment to providing compassionate care for hospitalized animals and their owners.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to seek clarification when necessary.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with colleagues and pet owners.
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development.
