Tojiron Masonry Inc. is seeking a skilled Construction Trades Helper to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt under the supervision of experienced tradespeople.
  • Assist medical examiners and other personnel as needed.
  • Participate in the demolition of buildings and structures.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse or recycling.
  • Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Operate and maintain equipment used in construction, such as cranes and forklifts.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites to ensure safety and efficiency.
Work Environment

As a Construction Trades Helper, you will work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in dangerous conditions. You must be able to lift heavy loads and work in a dusty environment.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and overtime as required.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
  • Ability to work in a variety of locations, including outdoors and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require manual dexterity, lifting, and carrying heavy loads.
