We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at LOCAL Public Eatery. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality dishes to our guests. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in ensuring the success of our kitchen.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
- Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
- Order supplies and equipment
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Clean kitchen and work areas
- Manage kitchen operations
- Experience in a fast-paced and high-volume kitchen
- The ability to connect with others and work as part of a team
- A passion for cooking and a desire to innovate and improve our menus
