We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Popina Canteen. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including soups, salads, and main courses.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Clean kitchen and work areas.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
