About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Victor Energy Ltd. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased, determining contract terms and conditions, and planning, organizing, and overseeing operational logistics of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess requirements of an establishment to develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased
  • Determine contract terms and conditions
  • Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization
  • Negotiate rates and terms
  • Monitor and adjust contract expenditures
  • Manage contracts
  • Inspect and evaluate material and equipment for compliance to standards
  • Establish and maintain contact with suppliers
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures
  • Conduct performance reviews
  • Assist in analysis of data and preparation of reports
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, and contracts
  • Membership in the Supply Chain Management Association of Canada
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
