Job Title: Procurement Specialist

Victor Energy Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for assessing requirements, developing specifications, and negotiating contracts with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess requirements of an establishment to develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased.
  • Develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased.
  • Determine contract terms and conditions.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization.
  • Negotiate rates and terms.
  • Monitor and adjust contract expenditures.
  • Manage contracts.
  • Inspect and evaluate material and equipment for compliance to standards.
  • Establish and maintain contact with suppliers.
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures.
  • Conduct performance reviews.
  • Assist in analysis of data and preparation of reports.
  • Monitor and inspect quality of material produced.
  • Manage the operations of a department providing several administrative services.
  • Coordinate construction activities to ensure compliance with established building specifications.
Requirements:
  • Membership in the Supply Chain Management Association of Canada.
  • MS Word, MS Office, MS Excel, and MS Outlook skills.
  • Purchasing, procurement, and contracts experience.
  • Process improvement specialization.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, in a fast-paced environment, and under pressure.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Organized, team player, and time management skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to multitask.
