The successful candidate will lead our sales team and provide exceptional customer service and solutions to a wide range of customers. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement industry-leading sales and marketing initiatives to support our branch business plan and meet KPI targets
  • Work closely with our senior management team to develop and manage goals, systems, business plans, and operating budgets
  • Liaise with our Branch Manager and Purchasing Manager to ensure sufficient product is available to meet customer demand while meeting corporate inventory goals
  • Collaborate with our Operations and CAD departments to ensure profitability on metals processing orders
  • Lead and manage 3-4 sales staff by providing leadership, training, and development for Inside and Outside Sales Representatives

The ideal candidate will have:

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years sales management experience within the steel industry
  • Strong analytical, time management, organizational, and performance management skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Post-secondary education in the field of Business Administration/Marketing or Metallurgy
  • Previous purchasing experience
