Associate Dean, Indigenous Education Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Dean, Indigenous Education to join our team at Humber College. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in advancing our institution's commitment to Indigenous education and engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance Indigenous education and engagement across the college.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and community partners to design and deliver Indigenous-focused programs and services.
- Provide leadership and support to faculty and staff in the development of Indigenous curriculum and pedagogy.
- Build and maintain relationships with Indigenous communities and organizations to advance our institution's reconciliation efforts.
- Develop and manage budgets and resources to support Indigenous education and engagement initiatives.
- Oversee the development and implementation of Indigenous-focused research and evaluation projects.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to faculty and staff on Indigenous education and engagement best practices.
- Master's degree in Indigenous Studies, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Indigenous education and engagement in a post-secondary setting.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing strategic plans to advance Indigenous education and engagement.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, and community partners.
