Customer Service Representative

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and internal stakeholders, providing timely and effective solutions to their inquiries and concerns.
Key Responsibilities- Provide first-contact resolution for Zurn clients and inter-company team members.
- Collaborate with inventory management and sourcing teams to optimize problem-solving capacity.
- Communicate efficiently and professionally with customers, advocating for their needs and delivering solutions promptly.
- Manage customer needs and expectations from initial contact to resolution.
- Stay up-to-date on Zurn's product offerings and industry knowledge to provide expert support.
- Exercise sound judgment and effective communication skills in challenging situations.
- Maintain collaborative relationships with team members and drive proactive touchpoints with team lead and/or manager.
- College diploma or bachelor's degree in business, administration, supply chain, or related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
- Strong working knowledge of product returns, shortages, damages, and financial aptitude for solving claims discrepancies.
- Demonstrated process improvement and root cause analysis skills for sustainable solutions.
- Experience with ERP and CSM systems, comfortable leveraging technology-based applications and tools.
- Intermediate working knowledge of MS Office software, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Able to read and comprehend Zurn policies and procedures (English language) to ensure safety and the safety of those working around you.
- Self-motivated and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Aptitude for contributing to a collective team environment and setting personal goals that align with the organization's success.
- Customer-first mindset and strong sense of urgency.
- Solid work ethic and attention to detail.
- Predisposition to be reliable, punctual, and deadline-oriented.
- Self-starter, able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable with dynamic change and atypical daily routines.
- Strong focus on customer care standards and concepts, willing to share experiences to help the team achieve results.
