About the Role

Newprint is seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our team at our facility. As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our flexographic and offset printing presses.

  • Operating and maintaining flexographic and offset printing presses to produce high-quality prints.
  • Preparing production schedules and planning production methods to ensure efficient production.
  • Filling ink fountains and controlling colour and viscosity to achieve the desired print quality.
  • Monitoring regular press runs for quality using computer control consoles.
  • Removing and cleaning plates and cylinders at the end of press runs.

Requirements

  • 5 years or more of experience in operating flexographic and offset printing presses.
  • Basic security clearance and a criminal record check.
  • Ability to work under pressure, physically demanding tasks, and attention to detail.
