Food Service Team Lead

At Tim Hortons Store 9291, we are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing methods to meet work schedules, requisitioning food and kitchen supplies, and supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food. They will also be responsible for training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and addressing customers' complaints or concerns. Additionally, the candidate will maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres and be able to supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys. They will also be responsible for establishing work schedules and supervising 1 to 2 people, 3-4 people, or 5-10 people. The successful candidate will have excellent oral communication skills, be a team player, and have initiative and dependability. They will also support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition, offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for youth, and develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The hours of work are 30 to 40 hours per week.
