Job Summary

Halton Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and effective nursing care to patients with a variety of medical and surgical needs.
  • Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
  • Administer medications, perform various medical procedures, and provide education to patients and families.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Recent medical/surgical experience in an acute care setting.
  • Coronary Care I certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Previous cardiac monitoring experience preferred.
  • Strong patient assessment skills and ability to prioritize and work efficiently in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a caring and compassionate attitude towards patients and families.
