Your Opportunity:

At Alberta Health Services, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients in their homes and communities.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a high level of physical and emotional stamina. You will work closely with our clients, their families, and our healthcare team to provide personalized care and support. Your duties will include assisting with daily living activities, providing emotional support, and helping our clients maintain their independence.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Health Care Aide Certificate and be registered with the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory. You will also need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Preferred Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with experience in seniors' health and a positive approach to working with clients and peers. A Palliative Care course or experience would be an asset, as would a Foot Care course or experience.
