Psychiatric Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Care Specialist to join our team at Compass Health Network. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and quality care to patients with complex mental health needs.
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
About the RoleThis is a full-time position, working 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, with limited supervision. The successful candidate must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, being able to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
The ideal candidate will have experience in an office setting, preferably in a human service field, and be able to demonstrate empathy and concern when dealing with people. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while an associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide age-appropriate care for psychiatric patients
- Effectively problem-solve in a fast-paced work environment
- Coordinate residential treatment and acute care
- Comply with departmental and hospital policies and procedures
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to Federal, State, and TJC standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and employ leadership skills as needed
