About your next Challenge as a Configuration Management Specialist:
As a key member of the Harris Geospatial Solutions team, the Configuration Management Specialist will be responsible for managing requests for the export and import of data from various sources, including the Department of National Defence and several L3 Harris services and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the management of project documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage physical and electronic databases, maintaining up-to-date records and ensuring data integrity.
- Maintain an understanding of and ensure compliance with applicable L3Harris policies and procedures, including those related to data management and control.
- Coordinate archiving activities, including deposits, retrieval, and inventory maintenance, to ensure efficient and secure data storage.
- Provide continued and constructive process feedback for business process development, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Other duties and special projects as required, in support of the Configuration Management Section Chief.
Required Skills and Experiences:
- 6 years of experience in the management of documentation, with a strong understanding of data management principles and practices.
- Experience in document management and control, including the use of commercial software tools, such as Enovia PLM and SAP.
- Strong administrative and computer skills, with proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
- Able to multi-task, with attention to detail and consistency.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction, with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Experience in Configuration Management in a defense or aeronautic environment would be an asset, as would knowledge of the Enovia PLM and SAP systems.
- Soft skills, including bilingualism, strong team player, and proficiency in MS Office Suite, with an emphasis on Word and Excel.
Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory):
- Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO SECRET security clearance.
- Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
- For on-site positions, our location not accessible by public transport, car/carpooling required.
