Design Thinking Professor

Join our faculty as a Design Thinking Professor and drive business innovation, new product development, and customer experience at the University of Ottawa.
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly experienced professional with a PhD in Psychology or a related field, and a strong background in design thinking. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing and mentoring multi-disciplinary design projects, and a deep understanding of management practices related to business innovation, product development, and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver design thinking courses and workshops
- Lead design thinking projects and mentor students
- Collaborate with faculty and industry partners to drive business innovation
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in design thinking
The successful candidate will have:
- A PhD in Psychology or a related field
- Three to five years of industry experience in design thinking
- Expert knowledge of management practices related to business innovation, product development, and customer experience
- Significant experience managing and mentoring multi-disciplinary design projects
