Global Pharma Tek is seeking a highly skilled Senior Report Developer to join our team. As a key member of our Business Intelligence team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex Power BI reports and datasets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Modeling and Visualization: Design and implement data models that are intuitive, high-performing, and simple to maintain. Create compelling Power BI report designs and report formatting, including report navigation for all audience types.
  • Power BI Development: Use Power Query to extract data from different data sources and choose a storage mode and connectivity type. Profile, clean, and load data into Power BI.
  • Performance Tuning: Examine, sort, and present data using Power BI in a cohesive manner. Connect Power BI reports to data sources.
  • Documentation and Collaboration: Develop documentation and collaborate with internal/external stakeholders and liaise with technical experts and non-technical colleagues, regarding project deliverables.
Requirements
  • Power BI Expertise: Proven experience with Power BI, including data modeling, visualization, and performance tuning.
  • Business Intelligence: Demonstrated experience in understanding, capturing, and analyzing complex and sometimes competing business requirements to develop Business Intelligence products.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, including the ability to plan and prioritize workload, ensuring timelines are met and respond to demands of a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Microsoft Azure Ecosystem: Knowledge of the Microsoft Azure ecosystem and the Power Platform, including Azure Data Factory.
  • SQL Server and Power BI Datasets: Proven experience with SQL Server and Power BI datasets.
  • Business Analysis: Experience in understanding, capturing, and analyzing complex and sometimes competing business requirements to develop Business Intelligence products.
