About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at 2315168 Alberta Inc. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare and submit tax returns, including corporate and personal tax returns.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
