About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Leduc Stars Academy. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and present financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Perform various accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations, and identify and mitigate potential risks to the organization.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
