Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Dairy Queen Woodbridge. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement effective work schedules to meet business needs
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and compliance
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth
  • Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement
  • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service or related industry
  • College or CEGEP education, or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction and staff development
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports, with attention to detail and analytical skills
